“Back-stage deals shall end in this city. It is high time to end reigning of one person and his gang in this city that leads us to disaster,” the demonstrators protested activities of the head of Kutaisi office of the Georgian Patriots Alliance Gocha Tevdoradze and members of the Patriots Fraction at the City Council.

People gathered in front of the Kutaisi City Hall, among whom were representatives of local NGOs and former government, protested recent developments in Kutaisi City Hall. “Nobody in the city self-government shall obey the orders of only one person. I mean Gocha Tevdoradze. He interfered in the decision of the competition. It is incredible,” said Manana Managadze, head of the Center for the Protection of Citizens’ Rights, who also participated in the protest. She, together with other protesters, requests annulment of the results of the competition in the City Hall.
