Human Rights Center Registered 29 Notes and Filed 6 Complaints

By 20:00 pm, according to the CEC, all polling stations were closed throughout the country. 

On June 15, Human Rights Center observed the Local Self-Governmental Elections with 28 observers in the villages of ethnic minorities in Kakheti region and in the villages of conflict-affected area of Sachkhere district in Imereti region. 

The observers of the organization wrote 29 notes and 6 complaints. The most notes (25) were registered in Akhmeta district; more precisely in the polling stations of Pankisi gorge. The complaints were written in the villages of ethnic minorities in Sagarejo, Telavi and Akhmeta municipalities. 

Election process was conducted in the most peaceful environment in the villages of Sachkhere municipality, close to the conflict zone. There, observers did not write any notes and complaints at all. 

News
