Strong Wind Left About 40 000 Subscribers without Electricity

On February 18, strong wind removed roofs of two residential buildings in Kavkasioni street in Telavi. The windows were broken, electricity wires were torn and the city was left without electricity supply. Nobody was injured during the natural disaster.

Representatives of the Rescue Service Department and of local authority arrived on the site; patrol police and rescue teams were mobilized.

Humanrights.ge was reported from the Telavi City Hall that a commission will be established which will calculate the damage and the local authority will reimburse them.

The strong wind rooted perennial trees out in Bagrationi street in Telavi for what the traffic movement was blocked.
