Members of the political parties local organizations in Gurjaani reacted on the results of the public opinion survey conducted by the National Democratic Institute. After the survey results were published, one part of political parties do not doubt about their victory in the upcoming elections.

“This government has wasted all its resources that means people will vote for us and we will again come into authority in October. United National Movement is real power, which will win the elections. We trust the survey and its results are absolutely trustworthy for us,” said representative of the UNM’s Gurjaani organization Nika Nizharadze.

Members of Free Democrats say the NDI results were caused by the mistakes of government. Members of the Georgian Dream trust NDI public opinion survey but they do not believe that living conditions of population worsened after all what they have done in the country.

“Although I trust the NDI survey results in many aspects, some of their information is not correct. We have done much in the country, including visa facilitation policy with EU member states. As for our municipality, we have illuminated the streets and supplied Katchreti zone with drinking water; rehabilitated roads and wells,” Teimuraz Zardiashvili of the Georgian Dream said.

Leader of the Republic Party in Gurjaani Zviad Kviralashvili trusts voters more than NDI survey results.

As for the Labor Party, their representative Jemal Sepiashvili said NDI survey results reflect the poverty of people; he believes the solution of this problem is their party’s victory in the elections.
