Representative of Human Rights Center Participated in the OSCE ODIHR Trial Monitoring Annual Meeting

Representative of Human Rights Center participated in the OSCE ODIHR Trial Monitoring Annual Meeting in Tirana, Albania. 

On June 14-17, OSCE ODIHR Trial Monitoring Annual Meeting was organized with participation of NGOs and international organizations in Tirana, Albania. The purpose of the meeting was to enable the participant organizations to share the methodology of trial monitoring, criteria for the selection of high profile cases and accessibility to the case materials during trial monitoring with each other.

The head of the legal aid service at Human Rights Center Tamar Avaliani made a presentation about the selection criteria of the cases for trial monitoring and access to case materials in the court. She also spoke about the criteria for the selection of high profile cases and trial monitoring methodology. 

About 50 representatives of nongovernmental organizations from 16 countries participated in the working meeting.
