Paata Burtchuladze: “I will see united Georgia”

On August 25, Paata Burtchuladze, the leader of the movement State for People, with the representatives of the coalition, arrived in village Zemo Sobisi of the Gori Municipality. Several days before, the representatives of the occupation regime did not allow the farmers to harvest. Burtchuladze protested Russian propaganda and moving occupation from Sobisi. 

“From today the territory is occupied, it is a disaster, but everything artificial is temporary. I will see Georgia united. Our youth will recall occupation like bitter dream”, - Burtchuladze declared. 

The population of Sobisi fears that so called “border” might move one more km inside the Georgia controlled territory. They say they got scared after  the combines from Tskhinvali collected harvest in Chilindrishvili’s plot. 

Giorgi Rukhadze, one of the leaders of the coalition State for People, calls on the State Security Agency to defend the rights and interests of the people who live near the occupation line, instead of political opponents’ persecution. 

“People who live here are vulnerable. The Georgian State is obliged to protect them. The State Security Agency, whose primary purpose is to defend people, in fact, is busy to chase our activists. It is happening, because the Georgian Dream wants to keep the power”, - Giorgi Rukhadze said. 

I remind you, that the Government of Georgia reached the agreement with the occupation regime and the family of Chilindrishvilis managed to get their harvest under the supervision of the Georgian
