Training for journalists

Human Rights Center announced a competition for 1-day training for journalists.

The main topic of the training is awareness rising of journalists about the work of the International Criminal Court (ICC), about the commenced investigation into the 2008 August War and alleged victims of war crimes.  
The objective of the training is to train journalists in producing journalistic publications about the work of ICC, ongoing investigation into the 2008 August War and alleged victims of the war crime. 
One of the criteria for the selection of the journalists is experience on covering the human rights issues and interest to report about the ICC.
Priority will be given to the journalists, who have experience in preparation of journalistic publications about key international legal issues in relation with Georgia. The applicant journalists shall work in Tbilisi or Shida Kartli region.

The training will take place on January 23, 2017 in Tbilisi.
