A Book Has Been Published on Human Rights

March 2, 2007

Today, at the Hotel ‘Courtyard Marriot’, a presentation of the book, “European and National System on Human Rights”, was held. Konstantine Korkelia, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Justice, is the author of the book. The book was prepared with the support of the Ministry of Justice and German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) within the project “Supporting the Georgian Judicial and Court System”. The book includes the works of scientific and practical lawyers.

The aim of publishing the joint articles is to introduce Georgian reader to the practice of European State Court and Human Rights European Court. The book also discusses the practice of usage of the European Conventions and Strasbourg Court in Georgian Courts.

It should also be pointed out that the book will be distributed free of charge.
