Criminal Case Was Launched On the Wounding of Reservist

The health of reservist Giorgi Nozadze was wounded at Krtsanisi military base is in difficult condition. According to the initial information instructor was training in firing from gun when unfortunately the bullet changed its direction and wounded Nozadze.

In Central Hospital an urgent operation was made on Giorgi Nozadze. The kidney and spleen were removed from the patient.

Relatives stated that Nozadze had two wounds on the breast. Giorgi Nozadze is the fifth year student of Medical Faculty at Medical School Aieti. And he was taking eighteen-day compulsory reservist service at Krtsanisi Military Base.

The Military Police will investigate this fact. According to the Defense Ministry criminal case has already been launched. The investigation aims to clarify whether the fact was an accident or was caused by breaching the security rules.
