The New York Times published a long interview with Georgian MP Goga Bokeria, where recent events in Georgia as well as the situation with the Imedi TV station.
Bokeria stated in his interview that the November events proved that Georgia had achieved true statehood.
As for the situation with Imedi TV, Bokeria stated that it is possible that the company will not renew broadcasting after the State of Emergency is lifted. More precisely, he said that law enforcement are investigating Imedi for possible criminal activities, provocation of the public disorder and for possible criminal cooperation with businessman Badri Patarkatsihsivli.
