Kibar Khalvashi Demands those Who Took away his TV- Company are Punished

Kibar Khalvashi, a businessman is requesting the Chief Prosecutor’s Office and the Parliament of Georgia punish those who took away his property – TV- Companies Rustavi 2 and Mze.

He sent an official appeal to both the Chief Prosecutor’s Office and the Parliament of Georgia. Kibar Khalvashi also sent another application to the Georgian Parliament and Parliament factions with the request to create investigation commission into the issue.

The press secretary of political movement For United Georgia informed news agency Media News that Kibar Khalvashi demands that the Chief Prosecutor’s Office and the Parliament of Georgia initiated an investigation on the fact of illegally depriving Rustavi 2 and Mze from Kibar Khalvashi. Khalvashi demands that the perpetrators are punished.

Representatives of the Movement for United Georgia said that Kibar Khalvashi considers himself as a politically persecuted businessman and accuses Mikhail Saakashvili and other high-ranking authorities of illegally confiscating his TV-Companies.
