The State Refused to the Cover the Expenses ofTreating aSoldier Injured during the August War

The Ministry of Defense of Georgia officially refused to cover the expense of treating Nika Amirajibi, 21, a resident  of the village of Zegaani, for injuries  Nika  suffered during the August war.

Nika Amirajibi received an injury to his skull  and contusions after the explosion of a missile in Tskhinvali. He was not able to speak for 4 months. He cannot apply to the hospital for treatment because he cannot afford it.

The Ministry of Defense claims that he was injured during an accident and not during the fight. Therefore, his treatment expenses cannot be covered by the state.
