Parliament Adopted Amendments to the Law on Assemblies and Manifestations and Constitution through First Hearing

Parliament adopted the amendments to the Law on Assemblies and Manifestations and the Constitution through the first hearing.

According to the constitutional amendments, the Parliament will transfer to Kutaisi starting from December 2013.
 
The draft law specifies the items that will be prohibited during the action. Also, the government will have the opportunity to decide whether or not to stop the action in special instances.

Besides, the responsibilities of the action organizers, the reasons of action disruption, and the rules for holding the manifestations are specified more.

Today, the Parliament adopted the Draft Law to the Criminal Code according to which the responsibilities are going to be restricted for the attacks on policemen, creation and participation in the armed group and their financing.
