Statement of Press Distribution Agencies

December 28, 2011

Another auction in the framework of Tbilisi City Hall project “1000 booths” will be held today. Most of the lots on the auction are declared on the places were press distribution booths were placed before.

Press distribution agencies: “Matsne”, “Elva Service”, and “Planeta Forte” ask the project participants for solidarity and calls on them not to take part in the lots where there were press distribution booths before.

“Press distribution companies share the proposals of participant and winner subjects (the statement of Company “Poultry Georgia” confirmed the allegation in “Kviris Palitra” issue on 19 December 2011) of the auction declared by the Tbilisi City Hall in the framework of small and average business assistance and declare that booths of “Matsne”, “Planeta Forte” and “Elvaservice” have been removed from the capital, which raised serious problems for press distribution in Tbilisi.

Mainly the lots where booths of “Matsne”, “Planeta Forte” and “Elvaservice” stood are put up to the 80th auction declared for 28 December.

We ask those who want to take part in the project to express solidarity and not take part in the lots that coincide with the places of these press distribution booths. Namely “Matsne”, Lot 33: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25; “Elva Service” 33: 14, 17, 21; “Planeta Forte” 33: 3, 6, 26. We’ll regularly inform you about the participation in the next auctions”, the statement reads.
