“He Attacked Me and Said He Would Tear the Newspapers on My Head and Cursed Bidzinashvili”

April 6, 2012

“I was reading Georgian Dream’s newspaper in the street when accountant of the education resource-center Niko Rusiashvili approached me and said “I will tear the newspapers on your head”; I asked why he was threatening me and he cursed Bidzinashvili (Bidzina Ivanishvili) and those who distributed the newspapers,’ Gulchina Tsikoridze from Akhmeta told the ICK.

She added that the accountant of the resource center demanded her to throw the newspaper away. “He demanded to throw it away and threatened with tearing it on my heard. He cursed Ivanishvili and those who distributed the newspapers. He might be soon promoted for that,” Gulchina Tsikoridze said.

Despite many attempts the ICK could not get in touch with Niko Rusishvili, accountant of the Akhmeta district education resource center.

We kindly remind you that on March 5, head of Akhmeta district education resource center Bela Marukashvili organized mobilization of teachers and pupils of local public schools to meet the President Saakashvili in Akhmeta. During President’s visit final lessons were cancelled in Akhmeta based public schools. The activists of the National Movement brought pupils by trucks to the recently opened medical center in Akhmeta to collect many people to meet the president.
