Journalist’s Apartment Attacked

 

Irina Gogosashvili, a journalist for Ajara television who was detained by security officers and charged with using false documents, has asked for political asylum. Unknown assailants attacked Gogosashvili’s apartment

 

After the resignation of the Adjarian Government, supporters of Abashidze have found life diffucult. The journalist and her family are seeking temporary asylum in Georgia.
