Soldier Died from Pneumonia

Tbilisi. 12.06.12. Media News. On June 11, Nugzar Gelashvili, the soldier of Gori (city in the middle of Georgia) regiment died. According to Maia Nikoleishvili, the independent expert, the reason of the death was lungs’ Pneumonia. 

18 year-old Nugzar Gelashvilisi, the resident of Kharagauli (west part of Georgia) was recruited on April 19. As his relatives state, he used to get cold frequently later.

Since June 5, Nugzar Gelashvili was treated at Gori regiment but later on June 9 he was taken to Gori military hospital and then to Tbilisi hospital.

It is notable that a week before there was the facts of suicide in Vartsikhe battalion; 18 year-old Ketsbaia committed suicide with gun fire.

There was one more case of suicide a month ago. Sirbiladze ended his life by committing suicide.

According to Maia Nikoleishvili, it is a very strange chain of deaths of Soldiers that should not take place in any country.

The fact of death of Nugzar Gelashvili will be investigated by the law-enforcers. General Prosecution Office is involved in the investigation process. The medical expertise was done and the results will soon be known.
