Georgian Military Police didn’t Allow Deutsche Welle’s Film Crew to Enter Tskhinvali Region

The Military Police of Georgian Ministry of Defense didn’t allow the film crew of German Deutsche Welle’s film crew to enter Tskhinvali region.
According to self-proclaimed South Ossetian Republic’s Print and Information Committee, “Deutsche Welle’s” film crew arrived in Tbilisi but failed to enter South Ossetia because Georgian Military Police didn’t let them into that breakaway republic.

According to the South Ossetian source, Georgian Military Police previously didn’t allow the correspondents of France Presse Agency and Russian TV stations to enter the conflict zone.

Several days ago the Head of Georgian Ministry of the Interior’s Press Service Shota Khizanishvili said that any journalist who had Georgian visa could freely enter Tskhinvali region; however, he also added that the Georgian Ministry of the Interior disclaimed any responsibility for their farther safety.
