Human rights center calls on Minister of Labor, Healthcare and Welfare of Georgia to address case of underage N. D.

On April 24 at 11:30, in the press club of news agency “Pirweli’” Human Right Centre will held press-conference about poor health conditions of N.D. 

In March 2015 Gela Didebashvili applied Human Rights Center for legal assistance, whose sun N.D, one year and three months old, is in coma at Palliative Unit of Iashvili clinic. 

Health conditions of N.D are extremely poor. His parents blame head of the extensive therapy unit at Iashvili Clinic Gia Bibilashvili in it. 

The parents say their son’s health conditions worsened as a result of Gia Bibilashvili’s professional negligence.  

On 1st April Human Right Center petitioned to the Ministry of Healthcare with regard to N.D case and requested to set up a commission to study the medical treatment record on the patient.  

Human Rights Center calls on Minister of Healthcare of Georgia to  timely and effectively respond to the case,  set up medical commission to find out the reason why health conditions of the child aggravated in the hospital.
