Jemal Tsiklauri owned an agricultural market in Gori until 2004. The state registered his market under their ownership while Tsiklauri was serving prison time for cheating on the price of 9 kilos of meat despite the fact that it was one of the sellers who cheated, not him. Despite this, a criminal case has been filed against Tsiklauri, holding him responsible.
Illegally Seized Gifts from Gonio Residents

The Gurjaani District Prosecutor’s office has finished its investigation into the case of Zurab Tabagari - former director of the public school in Balghojiani Village, Kvareli District. The prosecutor’s office accused Tabagari under Article 139 (forcible sexual intercourse with juvenile) and Article 332 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

Soon, tourists will slide from the Caucasus Range directly down to Batumi seashore. Soon, as the President of Georgia has promised, we will build a motorway to Sokhumi and maybe even to Sochi.

New Tax Code – New Regulation for Businessmen

The government met the New Year with the new Tax Code. The new Tax Code contains new notions together with new tax systems. The notions of “micro” and “small business” were introduced in the Code for the first time. The tax payment is also differentiated for them. Tax ombudsman (business ombudsman) was appointed who has not made any comments about mass detention and fining of entrepreneurs so far.

The overburdened municipal buses, prolonged waiting for the desired transportation at the bus stops and the risen prices for travelling is today’s reality in Tbilisi.
