A Criminal Case was Launched on Falsified Signatures by Social Agent

January 22, 2009

Kakheti District Prosecutor’s Office launched a criminal investigation on the fact of falsification committed by Kakhaber Shatirishvili, a social agent of Control Group for Kakheti Regional Coordination Centre of the Agency for Social Subsidies.

According to the General Inspection of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Welfare Kakhaber Shatirishvili, the social agent falsified the signatures of family members of Givi Kristesashvili who was applying for social assistance. The General Inspection alleges that this violation as well as other ones resulted in granting high rating points to the Kristesashvili family who failed to receive social assistance from the state.

The Kakheti Regional Coordination Centre of the Agency for Social Subsidies does not agree with the information that is given in the conclusion of the General Inspection of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Welfare and alleges that the document is not made in a professional way.
