Along with the Building Supsa Port, Policemen Are Terrorizing the Land Owners

LLC Black Sea Product is building the port in the village Supsa of Lanchkhuti municipality. The company has already purchased the certain area of the land.

As one of the ladies residing in Supsa states, the people who don’t give consent for selling their agricultural land to the Black Sea Product are frequently seen by the policemen.

“They tell us to give a consent for sellout of the land for 5 lari and sign the agreement,” – says one of the ladies and since the case concerns the legal officers, restrains from revealing the names. According to her, the offer made by the representatives of the corresponding company is absolutely unacceptable. The respondent added that if the talk about the forceful surrender of the lands reoccurs, the owners are going to address every relevant department for protecting their rights.

LLC Black Sea Product was founded on October 10th of 2008. The director is Sardion Makatsaria born in 1971 in Sokhumi. On March 17th of 2009, by the order of the Revenue Service of Finance Ministry, Makatsaria was dismissed from his job replaced by Shalva Tsaqadze from Tbilisi.

In the graph of activity, the company indicated fishing industry, producing of fish flour and oil and other activity that’s not prohibited by Georgian legislation.

The corresponding company has been founded by four individuals and one legal entity - “M and D International Trading Gang” registered in the registry of “Tsugi Canton” in Switzerland.
