Convicted Under Administrative Law Will Be Able to Have TV-Set or Radio-Set in Prison

The convicted under the Administrative Law will have right to have a TV-set or a radio-set in prison.

The list of allowed things was approved by the decree of the Minister of Penitentiary, Probation and Legal Aid.

In accordance to the decree, a convicted under the administrative law can have and/or buy following things in the prison shop: cigarette and matches; clothes, hat, shoes and bed linen as it is estimated for the convicted people; underwear (warm and casual); handkerchiefs, belts, socks, tights, gloves, slippers, sport clothes, trainers, thread, waist-coats, towels, toilet items (soap, tooth-brash, tooth paste, tooth powder, hair-brushes); kerchiefs, tights, belts, bras, hygiene pads, Vaseline, cotton, shampoo, cosmetics (for women); mirror, mechanic, electro or single razor; brushes for clothes and shoes; shoe-polish, plastic cases for eye-glasses, soap and tooth-brushes, vessel, glasses and spoons; table games except cards, text-books, notebooks, envelopes, postcards, post stamps, black pencils, pens, ink and black, blue and lilac pen pieces; books; photos, photo-albums; sport clothes; electricity boilers; icons and warship items made of non-valuable metal; crutches, wooden sticks, wheelchairs (based on doctor’s prescription); watches made of non-precious metal; personal TV-set or radio-set; medicines (based on the doctor’s prescription and permission).

The decree is already in force.
