NGOs Informed Embassy Representatives about Incidents on May 26

Today, representatives of the Georgian no-governmental organizations informed the representatives of the embassies in Georgia about the violations from May 26.

The meeting was organized by the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association in the Hotel Tbilisi Marriot.

Chair of the GYLA Tamar Chugoshvili told the Interpresnews that they stressed out excessive use of force by riot police, ill-treatment of detainees and human rights violations during the dispersal. They also underlined that the demonstrators did not have chance to flee from the territory when dispersed.
