Lasha Tordia – Journalists will be Compensated for the Seized Equipments

The head of the Human Rights Committee of Parliament Lasha Tordia alleges that after undergoing certain procedures, journalists will be compensated for the damage caused by seizing their equipments during the disruption of the protest on May 26th.

As Lasha Tordia told the journalists, in case of confirmation of the demand or loss, the damage will be compensated. He says that it must be studied whether the equipment was lost or not, whether the journalist was on the protest and etc that demands certain procedure.

Tordia said that all cases need investigation, and journalists have to address investigative body for these procedures.
