It is possible to restore the rights of people repressed during the Soviet government.

As interpressnews was informed by the organization “Law for people” the 2010 decision of European Court of Human Rights created new possibility for restoring rights of the repressed people.

“The decision talks about the rights of people repressed during the Soviet government. This decision once again confirmed that the damage inflicted by the repressions should definitely be compensated even if a long time has passed since the fact of violence,” – stated the organization.

The head of the organization Zakaria Kutsnashvili will hold a press conference regarding this issue tomorrow and will present the content of the decision to the public including the individuals who have right to request the financial compensation.
