Mother of Two Children Fired Due to Participation in “Ex-Wives Club”

Nana Kevkhishvili from the village Vanta of Telavi region was fired from the bakery where she worked as a cook due to participation in the show Ex-Wives Club of TV channel Imedi.

According to Nana Kevkhishvili, after the show was aired on TV, the owner of the bakery verbally assaulted her and prohibited her to go back to work.

The owner of the bakery does not comment on the issue.

Nana Kevkhishvili lives with two little children.

As the head of the territorial body of the village Vanti Ioseb Iosebashvili stated to Kakheti Information Center “the lady deserved it and that is why she was fired.”

Ia Parulava one of the MCs of the show addressed the Kakheti Governor yesterday on live broadcasting and asked her to employ Nana Kevkhishvili.
