Web Portal on Human Rights in Georgia

On February 29, the Human Rights Center and Oslo Coalition on Freedom of Religion or Belief will present the new website – http://www.religiebi.info/ and hold seminar “New Amendments to the Civil Code about Registration of Religious Organizations: Expectations and Result” in the Hotel Tbilisi Marriott.

Executive director of the Human Rights Center Ucha Nanuashvili, Dag Nygard from the Oslo Coalition on Freedom of Religion or Belief and Public Defender of Georgia George Tugushi will make speeches during the seminar.

The seminar participants will review evaluations of Georgian government, religious organizations and international organizations about the new amendments introduced to the Georgian Civil Code. The participants will speak about existing challenges in the field and continue discussion on the issue.
