October 1, 2012

Parten Gvaladze, a father of nine children who works in a Metekhi church in a village Tanbidza village in Bolnisi district, says that 9 activists from National Movement beat him.

Several minutes ago Parten reported to Interpressnews that he is a supporter of Georgian Dream and for this reason he was threatened by National Movement supporters. On September 30 he was pulled from his car and beaten.

According to him, children of National Movement supporters beat and insulted his children. After the incident that occurred on September 30, Parten requested help from society, in particular to remove his wife and children from Tandzia village.

“I am also a member of mobile group in Bolnisi and I should monitor elections tomorrow. My younger children have been beaten. Today nine people took me out of a car and beat me. I was unable even to take off  my church cloth. I ask society to help me in removingmy family from this village. I ask and beg Bidzina Ivanishvili to help me in fleeing this village whilst my family members are still alive. Even sleeping at night is dangerous in this village.”  said Parten Gvaladze
