Zestaponi Market Traders Hope for PM’s Assistance

February 7, 2013

On February 6, traders of Zestaponi agricultural market held protest demonstration in front of the parliament in Kutaisi. They have been requesting Zestaponi market continued functioning. However, this time they appeal to Prime-Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili for help.

“We request PM to get interested in our problems and assist us in the resolution because representatives of local government could not reach agreement with brothers Samadashvilis, the owners of the market,” the traders said.

The traders collected 800 signatures with this request. At the moment, investigation is going on into the case on the agricultural market however traders do not hope the process will be conducted properly.
