Member of Adjara Supreme Council Blames Georgian Dream in Nepotism

October 16, 2013

Leti Labadze, Adjara

“People are appointed to the senior positions in Adjara Government and Supreme Council based on ties of relationship,” member of the Supreme Council Asmat Diasamidze made the statement during the briefing in the Batumi office of the National Movement.

“Nepotism continues in Adjara.  Clan of Khabadze-Beridze-Dumbadze still replaces and employs their relatives in senior positions in public agencies. District governors were replaced by their relatives in one day. Namely, Keda district governor is Dumbadze’s relative. Kobuleti district governor is a friend of Archil Khabadze, chairman of the government of Adjara Autonomous Republic.”

Asmat Diasamidze requested to appoint people to senior positions in public institutions as a result of competition that will allow all interested people to take part in the competition.
