Mikheil Mamalashvili, Kakheti

Information Center of Kakheti requests adequate reaction from relevant governmental institutions on the last week incident. Journalist of the ICK Sopo Mtivlishvili said she was forcibly expelled from the working room of Sagarejo district governor Giorgi Loladze. The journalist was trying to interview Loladze but the secretary did not allow her to meet the governor.

“The secretary was holding me and camera. We even quarreled and finally I turned up in the district governor’s room. Then they called security guards. Loladze asked the secretary to call police. Security officer grabbed my camera and the secretary caught me with hair and pulled me towards the door. In this situation I dropped camera and it fell into pieces,” Sopo Mitvlishvili said.

Sagarejo district governor did not answer phone calls from humanrights.ge. Giorgi Loladze commented on the incident in social network and said that journalist Sopo Mtivlishvili rushed into his working room though the secretary warned her that governor could not meet her.
