October 16, 2014

Shorena Kakabadze, Imereti

Public Defender met alloy factory employees in Zestaponi. Poor working conditions, low salaries and security – the workers mostly complained about these issues with the Ombudsman on October 15.

“Workers of Alloy Factory petitioned to us several times. They complained about working conditions. Our purpose is to study their problems issues and find ways to their solutions”-stated Ucha Nanuashvili.

Workers request secure working environment and different payment rate for overtime work. According to them, they addressed administration several times, but in vain.

On October 15, representatives of the Georgian United Trade Unions also met workers of the Alloy Factory together with Public Defender Georgia.
