Number of Employees Selected Through Competition Is Reducing

October 30, 2014

Shorena Kakabadze, Kutaisi

Contracted employees – 340 and non-contracted – 35 will be total number of employees at the Kutaisi City Hall after reorganization. Vacancy competition is announced for 179 positions and it does not refer to senior positions at the local self-governmental body.

“The competition will have three stages – selection of applications, testing and interview. Applications can be sent only by email, that will avoid doubts that some applications did not reach the commission. Besides that, people often complained that during application collection process, some documents were lost. Now, these doubts will be avoided and every applicant will have chance to equally demonstrate his/her abilities,” representatives of the Kutaisi City Hall state.

Number of employees at the City Hall will be seriously reduced as a result of reorganization that will cause discontent of dozens of people. They intend to appeal the court.
