Nepotism, salary arrears, results of competitions and test exams, politically motivated dismissals – this month nongovernmental organization International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy will start monitoring of the situation in local municipalities throughout the country. Representatives of the ISFED made announcements about the launched project during their meeting with media in Kutaisi.
“Our organization observed competition-test process of public servants. We had monitors throughout the country. Consequently, we have results from the competitions which are not quite positive. We offer free legal aid to public servants and applicants who believe that their rights were breached during the competition; we will also take their cases at the court and defend their rights there,” Nino Lomjaria, chairwoman of the ISFED said.
