Additional information

The book “Trust and Peace Building in the South Caucasus” was published in the frame of the project Coalition for Rebuilding Trust implemented by the Norwegian Helsinki Committee together with its local partner nongovernmental organizations in South Caucasus with financial support of EU and Norwegian Foreign Ministry in 2012-2015.

The purpose of the book is to find resources for dialogue and cooperation. It is envisioned to contribute to starting a new phase in the history of the South Caucasus: the rebuilding of trust.
The authors of the articles in the book try to find main causes of the bloody ethno-conflicts in the South Caucasus. At the same time, they aim at rebuilding trust, reconciliation and peace building between conflicting nations.

The Coalition for Trust was established in the South Caucasus and unifies civil society organizations from three UN member states – Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia as well as non-recognized statelets – Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Nagorno Karabakh.
