Nine-Year-Old Boy Killed by Pneumatic Gun in Chalaubani Village

An accident happened in Chalaubani village in Gurjaani district, as a result of what 9-year-old boy was killed by pneumatic gun.
Village attorney Elguja Imerlishvili told humanrights.ge that children were playing in the evening, one of them accidentally shot gun and wounded his friend in the belly for what he died immediately.

“Classmate of the boy had pneumatic gun that is quite strong weapon. I do not know what happened, maybe he accidentally fired. Police will estimate the truth. The boy was wounded in the kidney and died of that immediately,” Elguja Imerlishvili said.

Humanrights.ge contacted the press-center of the MIA whose representatives said investigation was launched under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
