UNM Presented Single Mandate MP Candidate in Kaspi

On June 29, leaders of the United National Movement Davit Bakradze and Nika Melia presented the single mandate MP candidate in Kaspi municipality. Nugzar Noniashvili will be the UNM majoritarian candidate for the 2016 parliamentary elections. In 2006-2012 he was Kaspi district deputy governor.

“In Kaspi, like in the rest Georgia, people are frustrated. Unemployment and poverty has increased. The problems can be resolved by a right political team, right vision and action plan,” said the UNM leader Davit Bakradze.

Nika Melia said the UNM will win elections in Kaspi and added that nowadays the municipality is associated with one word “play ground;” their political party plans to promote progress in Kaspi.

The MP candidate Nugzar Noniashvili said his main election slogan to the people is to restore dignity. “We promise people to increase the pension at 50 GEL; to reduce communal bills and to reasonably spend budget funds.”

On June 30, the UNM leaders will present the single mandate MP candidates in Kareli and Khashuri municipalities.

Free Democrats also presented their candidate in Kaspi municipality – Vakhtang Bezhitashvili. He was independent deputy in the Kaspi municipal board. Other political parties, including the ruling Coalition, have not presented their majoritarian candidates in the municipalities of Shida Kartli region so far.
