Prosecutors Answer Calls of Citizens on Hot-line

Media News. The citizens of Georgia can anonymously apply to the General Prosecution Office through a specially established hot line if they face violations committed by law-enforcers. Most of the applicants do not hide their names, - says Nona Tsotsoria, the Deputy General Prosecutor.
The hot line has been in operation since August 16 and is working 24 hours a day.

“Our purpose is not only to gather information, but also to react to it”,- stated Tsotsoria.

Prosecutors, who provide consultation where necessary, answer citizens’ calls.
They are going to react to every information they get; including violations committed by the prosecution itself.
