Two Georgian Children Were Taken Illegally from Ukraine to Poland

20/09/05 “Media News” - The police arrested two under-aged Georgians who were trying to cross the Ukrainian border together with a Ukrainian woman. The woman told the police, that the 13 year-old boy and 15 year-old girl were her children. However, investigation showed that she bought the children from two Georgian men, who later on were arrested in her apartment. The police also arrested a person, who is accused of issuing fake passports for them. The Georgian Embassy in Ukraine tries to find out the names of the arrested Georgians. “If they really are Georgian citizens, they will be taken to Tbilisi via Kiev”, - said Grigol Katamadze.
