The ex Deputy Governor of Gardabani Region Remains in Custody
23/09/05, Tbilisi, „Media News“- The regional court of Tbilisi sentenced the ex-deputy governor of Gardabani Telman Hassanov, to three months of preliminary custody. Hassanov’s lawyers demanded house arrest for him, but the court has not satisfied their petition. Hassanov’s advocates say that the court was not objective. “The court was carrying out the orders of a third person”, - said the lawyer. Hassanov was arrested 10 days ago in the village Vakhtangisi, where he organized a non-sanctioned meeting.
