Detainee Dies in Batumi Jail

Forty-six-year-old Anzor Chkhaidze, detainee at Batumi #3 jail of Georgian Ministry of Justice has died.

According to the preliminary results of Expert-Criminalist the reason of the detainee’s death was acute insufficiency of circulatory system.

Chkhaidze, detained for thieving and robbery, was taken to Batumi #3 jail on 3rd August.
