Detainee Dies in the Aids and Clinical Immunology Centre

Tbilisi. 27. 09. 06. Media News. On the 26th September 30 years old detainee, Nugzar Chavleishvili died in the Aids and Clinical Immunology Centre.

On the 18th August Chavleishvili was taken from the jail #3 under Ministry of Justice to the jail hospital, the diagnoses were AIV/Infection Aids ‘c-3’ category; and many other illnesses related to the Aids such as Epilepsy, Atrophy of the Brain, Terminal Stage and Hepatitis c are a few among them.

The sick man was taken to the Centre of the Aids and Clinical Immunology on the 4th September. Presumable reason for his death is estimated a swollen brain.

Nugzar Chavleishvili was arrested on the 8th April 2006, for criminal possession of drug and gun.
