January 5, 2008
An argument took place between the opposition representatives and the chairman of the polling station # 13 in the village of Bodbiskhevi in Sighnaghi district. The reason for the argument was the polling procedure.

According to the radio “Hereti”, Nunu Chabashvili, a member of the New Rights, could not take part in the ballot among commission members to share responsibilities while elections. During ballot she left the office for two minutes and coming back she discovered everything was finished.

Gogi Kupreishvili, the chairman of the Bodbiskhevi Polling Station, categorically denies the accusations against them in his conversation with the Radio “Hereti”. “If somebody could not take part in the ballot, according the Code of Elections, the functions shall be shared among commission members through the repeated ballot.”

It is noteworthy that Zurab Matesashvili, representative of the non-governmental organization “New Generation-New Initiative”, who observes the process at the Bodbiskhevi polling station, is wearing a red hat with number 5 to demonstrate his sympathy for Mikheil Saakashvili,” stated the Radio “Hereti.”
